Heavy storms swept through the East Coast of Australia today created 5/6 of giant sponges in the sea Gold Coast in Queensland.
Greg Leyson, who runs the Facebook page Cooly News, showed footage of a man being swept waves and submerged beneath the dense sponge Froggy near Coolangatta Beach.
He told the BBC Leyson, this phenomenon is quite rare, only occurring when a huge storm or tornado. He said local people often shun this fear layers sponge with sea snakes.
Earlier, in May 1/2013, Gold Coast waters and a similar situation occurred with 1 m above sea foam in some areas as high as 3 meters from the sea foam. Out of this came the waves of the sea foaming waves ashore causing another spill delayed traffic and most of the town fall into congestion.
Children were very excited and surprised by this rare phenomenon, January 1/2013.
To date 6/6, big waves, powerful cyclone, torrential rains swept the East Coast of Australia that 3 people were killed and hundreds of people to leave their homes.
Many in the east coast, including Sydney, saw waves as high as 5 meters. Bureau of Meteorology warned that more dangerous storms are moving south.
